Triangle Brass Band is giving a concert at Cary High School Auditorium and we have a program of music intended to honor and pay tribute to Her Majesty and the British Monarchy in general. The program had originally been built to synchronize with the release of the latest The Crown, series, but with the loss of Her Majesty, we felt we wanted to extend that mission.
We would be most grateful if you could circulate this among your members in case there are those who would wish to take this opportunity to remember and celebrate.
The program is as follows:
God Save The King
Crown Imperial – William Walton
Rule Britannia – John Hartmann, featuring Don Palmire, Euphonium
Hymn for Diana – Joseph Turrin
Henry the V – Ralph Vaughan Williams
The Dam Busters – Eric Coates
Greensleeves – Arr. Stephen Bulla, featuring Richard Hillson, Cornet
Plantagenets – Edward Gregson
Jerusalem – Hubert Parry / Sydney Herbert
Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 – Edward Elgar / Ord Hume
Pastime with Good Company – Henry the VIII / Stephen Roberts
