Several months after the airport’s two flights across the Atlantic were suspended amid the growing pandemic, all signs point to their return.

Delta Air Lines recently announced that it expects to bring back its nonstop RDU flight to Paris next April. Then on August 28^th, an American Airlines spokesman told TBJ that while there hadn’t been an official notice, the airline expects to bring its London nonstop back this winter. “This is an encouraging sign for the relaunch of American’s nonstop flight to London, yet travel restrictions and international demand will also factor into when international routes return to RDU,” an RDU spokeswoman said.
